IECA offers at least 19 educational events each year throughout the country, including Conferences, Summer Training Institutes, Webinars, Retreats, Symposia, and Workshops. Topics include knowledge of schools, colleges, and programs; counseling skills; admissions; small business management; and adolescent issues such as depression, anxiety, and much more. We welcome proposals to present at our conferences.
Conference Information
There are several ways to participate in our national conferences.
Summer Training Institute
This four-day institute is designed for newer educational consultants who want to learn more about managing and promoting a business, working effectively with students and families, building a knowledge of the wide range of options available to students, and establishing a professional, competent, and ethical practice.
Webinars
IECA webinars are FREE for IECA member educational consultants and are held the second Tuesday of each month at noon (ET).
Professional Member Retreat
IECA’s annual Professional Member Retreat is held each winter. Attendance is limited to IECA Professional members and is particularly focused on the needs of members with five years of experience in the profession.
