I've been an independent educational consultant (IEC) for 13 years, and like many of you, much of what I do has been based on trial and error and intuition. But after attending Brooke Daly and Jennifer McKenzie's session, "Beyond Gut Instinct: The KPIs Every IEC Should Track," at the IECA 2025 Annual Conference in Detroit, something clicked. I left feeling inspired and completely overwhelmed by where to start.
