Many independent educational consultants (IECs) understand federal financial aid and some IECs understand state-based financial aid in their home state, but IECs frequently do not understand state-based financial aid in other states. Thanks to Zoom, many of us are working with clients throughout the United States and now need to understand financial aid in multiple states.
